How to Claim Your Website on Pinterest Using Yoast SEO Plugin (FREE)
Step 1: Install Yoast SEO plugin.
Log into your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins > Add New and type in âYoastâ in the search bar to find it. Click âInstall Now.â And then click âActivate.â

Step 2: Click on Yoast SEO in WordPress Dashboard. Go to Social and then the Pinterest tab.
Now that youâve installed and activated your Yoast SEO plugin, you can find it in the left sidebar in your WordPress dashboard. Go to Y SEO > Social. Then click on the Pinterest tab.

Step 3: Open a new tab and log into your Pinterest account. Click the down arrow on the upper right corner, and click Settings.

Step 4: On the lefthand menu, click âClaim.â On the right, click the red button that says âClaimâ under your website.

Step 5: A box that says âChoose how you want to claimâ will pop up. Under âAdd HTML tag,â click the HTML code in the box to COPY it.

Step 6: Now, go back to your WordPress tab. Paste the HTML code into Yoast SEO.

Step 7: Return to Pinterest and type your blog URL into the box and click âVerify.â

Step 8: It should now say âConnected!â

How can you tell if youâve properly claimed your website on Pinterest? đ€
Easy! Just go to your Pinterest profile and look at your website URL. If it has been properly claimed, then it should have a checkmark next to it, like below:
